THE EXPERIENCE OF INTERFERON INDUCTOR AMYXIN USING IN THE COMPLEX TREATMENT OF CHLAMYDIA TRACHOMATIS INFECTION

Amyxin has wide application in treatment of viral infections. At treatment of Chlamydia trachomatis infections amyxin is applied necessarily in a complex with antibiotics. Amyxin was given to 26 patients with chronic genital Chlamydia trachomatis infection according to a standard technique. The patients also received doxycicline monohydrate (doxy-M) as antibacterial therapy. During treatment amyxin showed good tolerance without side effects. The clinical effect (complete removal of clinical symptoms) was observed in 25 (96.2±3.8%) patients. The microbiological effect of treatment (elimination of C. trachomatis) is marked in 24 (92.3±5.2%) patients. Thus, the complex treatment of the patients with amyxin in complex with antibiotics has shown high efficiency.
