COMPARATIVE 3-OXYPHENAZEPAM KINETICS AFTER VARIOUS METHODS OF ADMINISTRATION

Transdermal method of administration is very useful for many drugs. The aim of this work was the main pharmacokinetic parameters of 3-oxyphenazepam (phenazepam’s active methabolite) determination after its intravenous, oral and transdermal administrations.

The 3-oxyphenazepam’s bioavailability was about 0.8 after oral and about 0.25 after transdermal administrations. It was revealed, that the transdermal form use can prolonge and stabilize its the pharmacological action.
