THE PATHOGENETIC ROLE OF A PANCREAS IN DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRESSING OF THE METABOLIC SYNDROME
Part I. Insulin resistance, infringement of tolerance to glucose, dyslipidemia, activation of free radicals oxidation

Metabolic syndrome concept includes hyperinsulinemia, infringement of tolerance to glucose, insulin resistance, increase of cholesterol of low density lipoproteins, a low level of cholesterol of high density lipoproteins, an arterial hypertensia. We have assumed a possible role of a pancreas in these metabolic changes, and on the contrary a possible role of a cardiovascular metabolic syndrome in development of diseases of a pancreas.
