STUDY OF FUNCTIONAL STATE OF NEUTROPHILS BY LECTIN-INDUCED AGGREGATION METHOD UNDER EXPERIMENTAL DIABETES MELLITUS

The spectrum of data concerning the influence of L-arginine and aminoguanidine upon the data of rats’ neutrophil of lectine-induced aggregation under streptozotocine diabetes mellitus has been obtained and analyzed.

It has been shown that under pathological conditions on neutrophilic granulocytes membranes glicoproteins having the following hydrocarbon determinants: α,D-mannose, N-acetyl-β,D-glucosamine and N-acetylneuraminic acid prevail, but expression of β,D-galactose-containing receptors decreases.

The modeling action of L-arginine — NO system on structural and functional changes of investigated neutrophils receptor apparatus has been demonstrated.
