THE INFLUENCE OF COMBINED USAGE OF BACTERIAL LYPOPOLYSACCHARIDE AND DIAZEPAM UPON EPILEPTIC ACTIVITY

Under conditions of acute observation in rats kindled with corazol repeated adiministration (25–30 mg/kg, i. p. ) in three-week period free from epileptogen administrations the influence of bacterial lypopolysaccharide LPS (0,1 mg/kg, i. p.) abd diazepam (0,1 and 0,5 mg/kg, i. p.) administrations upon penicillin-induced foci in frontal cortex have been investigated. The development of potentiated antiseizure effect of diazepam revealed in postponed period of LPS action (12–14 h from the moment of administration) have been described.
