COMPARATIVE MORPHOHYSTOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES OF HARMONIC SCALPEL AND LIGASURE UPON THE LIVER TISSUE IN EXPERIMENT

Morphological peculiarities of rat’s liver under conditions of harmonic scalpel and LigaSure exposure during 5 sec in both coagulate and dissective modes have been conducted. It was established that LigaSure usage induced pronounced dystrophic changes in hepatocytes located in the affected zone along with destructions of tissue texture, vessels dilatation, local hemorrhages, which have not been compensated until the 21st day of observation. The usage of harmonic scalpel in both dissection and coagulate regimes induced dystrophic deteriorations in hepatocytes, which have been observed timely after affection and which have been more restricted when compared with zones of destructions induced by LigaSure. The liver structure successfully restored on the 21st day of observation.
