TREATMENT OF SYSTEMIC DISEASES OF CONNECTIVE TISSUE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: LITERATURE REVIEW AND OWN INVESTIGATION

The article reviews the current literature on the features of the course of systemic connective tissue diseases in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the existing problems in the treatment of these patients, in particular the use of disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs and glucocorticosteroids, and ways of solving them.

We conducted our own prospective cohort study aimed at assessing the compliance of available pharmacological treatment of patients with systemic connective tissue disease with current guidelines, assessing its dynamics and identifying problems associated with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
