PATHOPHYSIOLOGICAL MECHANISMS OF EPILEPTIC SYNDROME DEVELOPMENT UNDER CONDITIONS OF TYROSINE-KINASE ACTIVITY MODULATION

New approaches to the investigations of pathogenetic mechanisms of chronic epileptic syndrome, which was induced through kindling method, were in scope of the present review. Thus, the key role is played by tyrosine kinase activity in the process of epileptiform manifestations has been stressed. The corresponded usage of inhibitors of tyrosine-kinase as well as inhibitors of signal system induced with target of rapamicine in mammalians (mTOR) represented by itself contemporary and promising approach for the new antiepileptic drugs development. Such investigations are promising with regard to the development of new and more effective complex methods of epilepsy treatment.
