EVALUATION OF EFFICACY OF RENDERING DENTAL SERVICE TO INVALID CHILDREN USING GENERAL ANESTHESIA AS A PART OF TREATMENT AND PROPHILACTIC COMPLEX

The results of the dental examination and the long experience of providing dental care under general anesthesia to children with disabilities allowed us to develop a set of treatment and prevention measures aimed at quality oral sanitation, preventing the development of complications and the prevention of diseases of hard tissues of periodontal teeth and tissues, and preventing the development of tooth-jaw abnormalities in these children, taking into account the features of the underlying disease.

The effectiveness of the proposed treatment and prevention complex consists in the fact that caries treatment and its complications were performed simultaneously, in one session, under general anesthesia. This made it possible to carry out sanitation of the oral cavity for children with disabilities in accordance with the protocols of treatment.
