In this study we have analyzed the data from literature sources as well as our own experience of more than 4000 videoendoscopic operations to ground the minimal invasiveness of endoscopic operations. The reasearch has shown that such operations as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic fundoplication, laparoscopic vagotomy, thoracoscopic sympathectomy, thoracoscopic operation on lungs are less traumatic for the patients as compared with open operations. The detailed analysis of different laparoscopic operations will allow to see their advantages and clear up the degree of the invasiveness of these operations.
