PHENOBARBITAL AND POLYCHLORBIPHENYLES EFFECT ON ACTIVITY OF ENZYMES ATTENDED WITH APOPTOSIS REGULATION, MITOTIC REGIME AND FRAGMENTATION OF DNA OF RATS HEPATOCYTES

The effect of phenobarbital and cancerogenesis promoters DDT and DDE on activity of enzymes, which are regulating apoptogenic signal, mitotic regime and fragmentation of DNA of rats hepatocytes was studied. Authentic increasing of poly-(ADP-rybose)-polymerase and proteinkynase C activities and decreasing of apoptosis signal-regulating kinase under the effect of DDT and phenobarbital in rats liver were observed. The level of fragmentation of DNA had no essential changes. Cytomorphological studies revealed analogous violations of mitotic regime of cells under effect of phenobarbital and DDE (the principal DDT metabolite), which were expressed in stimulation of cell proliferation, distortion of normal alignments of mitotic phases, increasing of number of pathologic mitoses and alterations of mitotic apparatus of dividing cell, except of chromosomes.
