The izoprotenol influence on the preparations of isolated myocardium was studied. It is found, that sensitivity to β-sympathomimetic agents depends on the free-radical oxidation intensity. Activation and inhibition of free-radical reactions cause the loss of myocardium sensitivity to isoprotenol.
