THE INFLUENCE OF QUERCETIN AT THE STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF THE PHOSPHOLIPID BILAYER OF THE LIPOSOMES

The interaction of quercetin with phospholipid liposomes was investigated by the IR-spectroscopy, microcalorimetry and fluorimetry-probe methods. For the first time data about the liposome structural modification owing to the quercetin entry into hydrophobic area of the phospholipid bilayer were obtained. The heightened membrane tropism of the liposomic quercetin, as compared with the free quercetin, was accompanied by the microviscosity reduction and the membrane depolarization.
