For the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with acute bronchial asthma in the hospital a special program of medical rehabilitation, including the modified methods of therapeutic physical training and physical therapy facilities — chest ultraviolet irradiation, haloaerosoltherapy, is offered. Application of this program had led to significant improvement of respiratory function, expressed in the forced expiratory volume in 1 s, vital capacity, peak expiratory volume rate growth and in the test of reverse bronchial obstruction and in the daily peak expiratory rate.
