This article presents the results of a study of efficacy and safety of the bemiparin sodium for the prevention of thromboembolic complications in 116 patients operated on for lung cancer at high risk of thrombosis. The study was conducted on the basis of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Clinical Hospital N 17 in Kyiv. The overall effectiveness of bemiparin is regarded as high in 98.3% of cases.
Low-molecular-weight heparin — bemiparin is an effective for prevention of venous thromboembolism complications in patients at high risk of thrombosis, which undergoing thoracic surgery for malignant tumors of the lung.
