The article presents data on the improvement of the treatment of acute calculous cholecystitis in patients with middle and old age, which is complicated by choledocholithiasis using minimally invasive techniques.
The study is based on analysis of results of treatment of 362 patients of elderly and senile patients with acute cholecystitis, which was complicated by choledocholithiasis. The criteria for the distribution of the patients were of the patient on the ASA, disease duration (more or less than 3 days), the presence or absence of peritonitis. Type of surgery was depended on the physical status of the patient, clinical and morphological forms of the disease.
The use of laparoscopic (endovideosсopic) technology for the treatment of acute calculous cholecystitis complicated by choledocholithiasis, compared with the group of patients after open surgery (Mini Access) significantly improves the quality of life index in the evaluation of criteria using the SF-36 questionnaire.
